How does the deposit system work for sponsored goods?

For each drink sold in single-use deposit bottles from 1 January 2025, the corresponding deposit of 25 cents must be paid to Recycling Pfand Österreich. That also includes sponsored goods, test samples, samples, giveaways and home brew.
